Nachos tasted good, but I got over-exuberant with toppings and overwhelmed the chips. Will correct that with tomorrow night's make-up nachos. I got my editing done so I'm off for the rest of the weekend, just in case tomorrow's booster shot messes me up. I also opened up my PC to clean all the filters, blow and suck dust, and fix the clattering video card fan. When I turned it back on it wouldn't send pictures to my monitor, but a hard reboot fixed that...and the fan is nice and silent again. So that's what I'm thankful for.

We had normal TG fixens, except roast chicken instead of turkey - I liked it better in some ways. I had a moderate plate and so saved room for apple pie & ice cream. My granddaughter lasted one set of downs on football.

I opened the fridge too abruptly and had a foot-long spinal column in a clear bag fall at my feet.
Sounds like something from the book of Dahmer

So the turkey turned out perfect, as always. I had made the kielbasa and kraut, and the stuffing, earlier. Since the host was an hour away, I planned to heat everything to temperature when I got there.

They never told me their oven doesn't work. I wound up eating nothing at all.

Thanksgiving +1 leftovers.

We met up with friends and made sure to procure good bread for leftover sandwiches. I submit that turkey+mayo+thin greens+stuffing+cranberry sauce on rye is the best thing a person can eat on the Friday after Thanksgiving.
Much prefer my Nazis Nuremberged.
