I'm posting here for the same reason I'm posting in the weight loss thread. It gives a little bit of accountability to commit to doing it (the Redactle and the posting) daily. I still skip days when I'm doing too many other things though.

Redactle seems to be broken again at the moment, so I took a look at Redactle Unlimited. It looks like they've changed how they generate the URLs for their articles and how the share message is generated.

The share message for a random (really easy) article was: I solved Redactle Unlimited in 2 guesses with an accuracy of 100% and a time of 00:01:13. Play at https://redactle-unlimited.com

However, instead of sharing the specific article that was solved, that drops you at the default page for the current Redactle article (#127 today).

The article I actually solved was at https://redactle-unlimited.com/#g/en-Q25224, which is now using a different format for the URL pointing to the specific article. Previously, they were just Base64 encoding the article name, but now they appear to be using a proper token to obfuscate the articles.

Also, the Redactle Unlimited stats appear to be slightly broken, as the duration time keeps incrementing even after you complete the puzzle.

I saw that the normal page was broken but I didn't have any of the weirdness that my wife said she saw when she tried redactle-unlimited.

This is what the stats look like for the current daily article:

The mean duration for my run is continuing to count up over time, actually showing the elapsed time since I started it rather than how long it took to complete it (I don't remember how long it took, but I finished it over 2 hours ago). The overall mean duration also looks suspiciously high. I suspect that they introduced a bug in the stats while doing some updates to the software, since the duration issue isn't something I've noticed before. However, since it's it isn't something you'd see unless you reloaded the specific page sometime after completing it, it's possible that it's been around for a long time and I never noticed it before.
