Team Ethan Great Strides

Team Ethan is back physically walking for Great Strides after 2 years of being virtual!
This year the walk is at the CHP academy. The Cadets have graciously allowed the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation to use their campus and the Cadets and volunteered their time to host us.
Kids are happy because the theme is candyland themed, which means there will be plenty of candy!
This morning we have reached our team goal, but we are overachievers!
Each year OO has generaously donated to help Ethan and 70,000 people who have Cystic Fibrosis. Money raised goes directly to research and funding new medication and therapies with the end goal of a cure!
Ethan is now 12 years old and is starting middle school in August! Healthwise he has been doing pretty well. We keep track of his liver disease, but everything else we've seen improvement. He no longer needs enzymes to digest his food. That took a way about 25 pills each day. He essentially now has to take vitamins, a 2 pills for his liver, and the miracle drug called Trikafta. That drug is the direct result of fundraising and we believe it is the reason why he no longer needs enzymes.
Tomorrow is our walk we invite you to donate if you would like to continue to make a difference in his life.
Here is the link to his page http://fightcf.cff.org/goto/Ethan
And here is this year's Team Ethan video.
Thank you!
Ken
