Only in the sense that the comparison is unnecessary.

Comparing Evangelical fascists to the Taliban relates everything to foreign religious extremists when the real problem is domestic religious extremists. Why bother with that?

Gilead is sinister whether the Taliban exist or not.

The Bible in a targeting reticle is a nice touch.

3. We decree that our judicial system will issue rulings that are biblical and constitutional.
What is, "mutually exclusive," Alex?
5. We declare and we take back our God-given freedoms, according to our Constitution.
If they were God-given, you wouldn't need a Constitution.
9. We declare that our nation is energy independent.

There's an episode in the Gospels (see Matthew ch 4) where "the tempter" meets Jesus in the wilderness and offers him rulership over all the nations of the earth if he'll bow down. Jesus refuses.

Dominionists have apparently decided to take the deal.
