I know England players and fans would rather lose to anyone other than France, so this is going to be something of a spectacle.

France strikes first, 1-0.

Edit: Was a little late with my post but I agree that it was a damn nice shot through the defender’s legs.

Barf I did not want France to win. Freaking epic game though.

Would be cool if Morocco beats the odds and defeats their former colonial oppressors...

Unless you’re Portuguese, follow Ronaldo, Moroccan, African, or probably Middle Eastern.

I have been playing Football Manager since 2008??? And Morocco is always the first African nation to win the WC and it is always around this time. I personally can see a Morocco and Croatia final and Morocco winning it all. I don't think Argentina shitbaggery is better than Croatia shitbaggery.

Well Walker did enough to stop Mbape for the most part, and England outplayed France most of the match, but they just couldn't beat Lloris.

Kane missed his 2nd pk too.

But the best thing for England was France scoring early. They always seem to play super conservative, and their play really ramped up after falling behind.

It's on Fox OTA and Telemundo if you get that. Telemundo is way better anyway.

Geez, Morocco with a nice chance at the end of the half.

Hard to say what was better there - the bike, or the reaction to make the save.

France vs. Argentina, Mpaape vs. Messi, a classic matchup. One of them will win the Cup.

They're also both tied for the golden boot. Messi holds the tie-breaker (assists). But if Mbappe pots one and Messi doesn't, he'll win.

I think everyone outside of France is rooting for Messi. How can you not?

Because the team as a whole plays nasty? I lived in Argentina for a year, and I don't pull for them...they're like the 80's era Raiders. Hate their attitude.

I would like Messi to win one, but other than that don’t have any particular preference.

Argentina definitely seems to want it more through the first 15 mins.

That French goal box is a disaster. Amazing it’s in that bad of shape for a WC final

Agreed, and it’s just going to get worse from the Argentina side as the game goes on, unfortunately.
