That fat fuck gets winded lifting KFC past his third chin. The idea he could wield a baseball bat with sufficient strength to even point at his youngest daughter and ask “who’s the blonde” is laughable.

With these latest tweets, in the context of the looming potential indictment and arrest (I’ll believe it when I see it), Trump is really flirting with crossing the line. Even worse this time. When he tweets about “potential death & destruction” that “could be catastrophic for our country” if Bragg follows through with charges against him, how can that not be looked at as incitement? The post with him holding a bat in a threatening manner next to a picture of Bragg is just the cherry on top.

It sure would be interesting if he’d never charged for the stupid hush money thing but instead works himself into such a frenzy over the potential charges that he ends up getting arrested and charged with inciting violence.

We could poll all the people who think he isn't responsible for 1/6. One takeaway for me is that he isn't flirting with crossing a line. He should be but unfortunately it looks like there is no line. At least in a meaningful way.

Exactly. What consequences did TFG experience because of what he did and said leading up to 1/6? Why is it a surprise he's doing it again?

If you or I, regular Joe Schmoes had posted this on line about our pending indictment we’d be in jail right now. He’s so Teflon it’s insane.

How does he do it - I’ve been told by people who’ve met him in person (briefly at events pre 2016) he is insanely charismatic… people just want to make him happy for some weird reason.

Can you imagine if Obama went on a rant about how he was the besterest president ever like a three year old what would happen to him?

and trump supporters have the cheek to say Al Gore was a bad loser.

Wha? Murdering people with a baseball bat could only be more American if the baseball bat was tied to a gun.

I would say people who are like Trump like Trump. i.e. he’s only charismatic if you’re stupid and shallow. Every person who isn’t that have written about their encounters with him relate an insanely idiotic or narcissistic tale.

Narcissists can be extremely charismatic one-on-one because they have absolute confidence in themselves. It's something normal people respond to instinctively: we almost can't resist being impressed with someone who is 100% self-assured because it throws all of our insecurities and self-doubt into relief. It's no wonder so many of them become leaders of organizations.

Tucker Carlson is apparently the same way. He's a hateful demagogue, but even liberals who meet him at social events report that he is warm, charming, and delightful to be around. It's like some kind of social magic.

The moment Trump opened his mouth in my presence I would want to punch it. I felt this way in the 80's and my irritation has only been exacerbated since then.

I think charisma means different things to different people.

Yeah, when you know the guy is full of bullshit, which he has been since forever, the CHA is pretty ineffective.

It's true that bombast and confidence can dominate a room but I don't get how people will continue to slobber up the shit afterwards.

+1. Trump is the opposite of charismatic in my book.

Politically speaking, I hated Ronald Reagan almost as much as I hate trump, but Reagan was famously likeable.
