Shadow Gambit is the next game from Mimimi, the developers of Shadow Tactics: Blade of the Shogun and Desperados 3. It's an undead pirate tactics game with time manipulation.

Before watching the video I was sure I wasn't up for the same game again, but it looks like they have changed a few things that might just keep me interested. Making save-scumming a part of the game for one and fast forwarding time for the another. The crews powers are also interesting visually and hopefully also mechanically.

Thanks for the heads up! I liked their other games and I thought that the innovations that they brought made those games very enjoyable. Very different worlds so I look forward to their continuing to make this new one engaging.

Looks great. I loved Desperados 3 and Blade of the Shogun, so this is a no brainer.

I know I will play this eventually, but the review I watched made it sound like there are a lot more scenarios which I am actually not that thrilled about as I found the other games to eventually become something of a grind of pretty repetitive murder puzzles. I do like that it seems you can choose your team for each mission and there are mechanisms that encourage you to use different team members. Maybe one of you will buy it for me for Wishlistmas!
