I've been playing qith the demo and it's just ok to me.
The graphics aren't bad but everything deels too clean.
The levels are basic so far and it definitely feels like an older game.
Robocops targeting mode doesn't really do anything except highlight enemies and only when you zoom in. It doesn't actually target anything like in the mivie and there doesn't seem to be any aim assist like you would actually expect from Robocop.
You also can only hold 1 extra weapon and max ammo is only around 60 or so depending on the weapon.
Enemies are bullet sponges unless you hit their head.
Don't think I'll buy this when it comes out unless it's super cheap.
I just don't feel like I'm Robocop.

Detailed video on why this is a great game. Lots of spoilers in there though. I stopped watching 1/4 in. I want to play this one day when its on sale .

I just realized its by the same dev that did Terminator: Resistance that I loved SO much and wanted more of. Finished that game. I hope they do a DREDD game based on Karl Urban.

Im still not looking to buy it u til its a DEEP discount.
Except for the graphical representation i never really felt like robocop.
The targettimg especially felt VERY off to me. It teally should have an option for super aim assist. IIRC he was basically using his targetting as an aimbot before that was even a thing back in the movie. I figured that this would be the perfect game to handle my current disabilities AND an aimbot fits the theme perfectly.
Yes, absolutely have an option to turn it off for people that dont want it, but it really should have one by default.
I think that one little tweak would have made me like it more and make it less of a basic shooter with a Robocop overlay.

I've really been looking forward to this game, since I loved what they did with the Terminator game, and I don't ask for much in my shooters anyway other than they be fun.

However I feel like this one is about ten dollars over-priced. IIRC, their Terminator game listed for $40, which seemed about right, while this one is $50. I'm reading good things about this Robocop game overall, so it'll likely be fine for me.

But the other thing is I'm going to wait until it gets to GOG. I'm tired of jumping on a game when it appears on Steam, only to see a DRM-free version show up on GOG a few months later. And hey, by then it should be cheaper anyway.

Lots of positive buzz. Not sure if legitimate or paid, but it seems that it might be good.

Apropos of nothing, I remember loving the arcade game from the 80's (early 90's?).

FWIW this one gets 91% positive user reviews on Steam, 72 Metacritic score. That's enough for me to wishlist it (barely).
