This is a pic of Parksville lake. That round mountain in the background is Sugarloaf and it was my grandfathers. Also sometimes called Round Mountain. His farm sat at the bottom of it. Lived there until his and my grandma's death just months apart in the 1980s. Been on it many times and hunted on it too. He owned the whole thing once but by the time I was little he had donated the top most to the government. It was set up as some reserve or something. The entire area is beautiful. He helped with the lake and power there as well. He was a railroad man as well as helping build the flume line that rerouted water to the power plant. Fished with dad at Ocoee Dam #1 many many times. You cant quite see the dam in the snowy mountain pic but its to the bottom right of the mountain. Ill post a couple pics of it too.

I've taken maybe a 100 pictures over the last year. Not being able to do anything kind of killed it for me for now.

I don't think I've touched my camera for a year. Which kind of makes sense since I didn't go anywhere. I do believe I will bring it with my on vacation, but lugging all the gear around was starting to get old. I think I need one of those bridge cameras where it can do most of everything you want without needing to carry at least two lenses one which weighs like 900 pounds (70-200).

Yeah, I know what you mean. Overall, even while I've been out and about hiking and such, there's been less opportunity to take pictures. Dragging a camera around hasn't seemed as important without people around.

Dae, thanks for posting that tutorial. I was aware of the filters and meant to check them out but the video prompted me to give it a look and it's quite amazing what it can do. I fed the colorizing filter a few B&W pictures I had laying around and it produced some amazing results. One thing I can't quite figure out is how to target certain areas for color rendering, but other than that it's an amazing tool.

Sure thing. That was my hope that it would be found useful or interesting by someone in here.
