QuikClot, the life-saving bleed stopper, is now commonly available!

http://alphanet.zoovy.com/category/quikclotfromzmedica/

This stuff supposedly is strong enough to stop bleeding from a full femoral artery wound (if you apply enough of it properly) and is MUCH safer than a tourniquet, and MUCH easier to apply.

I knew the military has deployed lots of these, but I didn't know you can get them on the civilian market.

I EAT PORK, Im not afraid to admit that.. Sure, I realise pork isnt the cleanest animal.. but at least its better than eating members of the BUSH cabinet as they are far filthier animals than any pork I can eat.

Nope, if you read the website you'll see the ingredients: porous volcanic rock. adsorbs (that's NOT a misspelling or a typo) liquid with a slight release of heat, leaving the platalettes to do its job. It even gets bonded into the scab, being sterile medically and biologically.

Kasey, does this mean you're planning on expanding your business to start offering bus services in Mosul? Or is driving a bus in San Francisco really that hazardous?

Hmmm, I bet I can incorporate this into my school's annual haunted house!

Before you criticize a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way, if he gets angry, he's a mile away and barefoot.

I think I need to start carrying a packet of this around in my wallet. Never know when it would come in handy. Oh! Somebody, quick! Call 9-11! He's bleeding to death!
