Oh, that’s going to change soon. After MCU finishes Phase 4, Phase 5 is going to focus on adhesive based heroes and villains.

I thought Baron Zemo invented Adhesive X. Perhaps the future is now.

He probably developed velcro and the profits from the patent was one of the major sources of funds for HYDRA.

That is the only time outside of this forum where I've seen or heard that name.

I would've loved to have been a fly on the wall during that Marvel pitch meeting all those decades ago.

"You know what kids think is cool? Glue"

"Uh...Stan...I don't think that's such a big..."

"Yup, glue. My kids love it. They're always talking about glue...it's glue this, glue that."

"Stan...are your kids really obsessed with glu..."

"Glue, glue, glue...from morning to night. So what I'm thinking is that we create a villain who has a fast hardening glue that he shoots at people to stick them to things."

"Stan, are you huffing glue again?"

"Also...a talking duck...Marvel needs a talking duck."

Well, now that I know Eisner is no longer the head of Disney, I've sent another round to Walt Disney himself. Time to stop pandering to these middle men and go straight to the top!

Oooh...MICHAEL Eisner. Here all this time I thought you were talking about Will. Now you make much more sense. Or at least as much sense as you ever do.

after yesterday's episode i have to consider should i let my 11 year old finish the season. The level and detail of the violence went from 5 to 12 without any warning

I’m not a fan of Falcon, but I am a fan of a good story. And this show delivers on that front. This last episode was outstanding.

Episode was great, but one annoyance:
Spoiler:
The Skull Smashers intended an ambush of CA. They intended deadly force, clear both because of the knives and because they said they wanted to kill CA. Yet, Lamar goes down *hard*, and everybody stops in horror. They even give CA a "time out" so he can go slap his buddy on the face a few times. I recognize Lamar wasn'tthe target, and was supposed to be safe in another room, but it was pretty evident they were committed to violence, so none of that made sense.

If you thought last week was outstanding, just wait until you see this week...best hour of television I've seen in a very long time. I have no idea how Disney/Marvel manages to so consistently make great things happen, but they've struck gold with this show. It's easily on par with the best of the films, and quite possibly the strongest storytelling we've seen in the MCU so far. Everything about this week is pretty much perfect.

You say you're not a fan of Falcon? This week might just change your mind...

(and keep watching during the credits!)

So, this episode was definitely not as great as last week's. It's still very good but this is more of a table setting/character arc episode building to the finale. And yes, they finally have a post credits scene. And that cameo! Quite a pleasant surprise!

Great episode...although I had to laugh at the fact they didn’t even really try to hide that it was a body double in a few of the montage scenes.

Yeah, kind of seems like it has to be, especially with only one episode left...pretty late to introduce a villain.
Unless the plan is for the Power Broker to be the main villain in a different movie / series, and this will ultimately just serve to introduce him / her. The only catch is that there's maybe a 20% chance that they're just setting everything up to make her look like the Power Broker so that they can make the real identity a 'twist'.

If it's not Sharon Carter then Valentina seems like the next most likely candidate. But since she has a whole separate identity in the comics it doesn't seem super likely that they're going to go that route. I'm not sure who the third most likely candidate would be - guessing some new person introduced in the last episode, which seems unlikely but not impossible.

Hot damn, what a fantastic, thoughtful show this was. The ending was pitch perfect from start to finish too (maybe not the after credit stuff though).

I could do with a movie or three from this group.

This was a great super hero show with great character development (for both the leads) and timely and well handled social commentary.
Spoiler:
Sam had to come to the point that he felt he was worthy of the shield, and Bucky had to deal with his PTSD and guilt for being a virtual killing machine, even if unwilling. And it was such a grey world, with sympathy both for the villain "terrorists" and John Walker, who was used and then spit out when his usefulness ended (would they really have cared if the killing had been private?). Beyond being a great action show, it really hit the spot with all that is going on in our country at this time. It shows all the darkness of America, and yet the hope and best of America at the same time. And it shows all the contradictory feelings that African Americans have about their place in America, having to struggle to even fight for a country that has not usually not reciprocated that love and devotion. And yet it ends on a sense of hope for the future as Sam called the US and the world to its better nature (as the true heir of the shield would).
Well handled and well told, Marvel.

And I loved
Spoiler:
how they changed the name of the show to "Captain America and Winter Soldier" at the end.
