[Movie] Jackass Forever

Post by Smoove_B »

Coming 10/22/21

I find genuine joy in watching them. Not because of the pain, it's how they're all laughing and having a good time. Is that weird? It feels like that should be weird. Regardless, on the rare occasions I'm channel surfing and there's a movie or episode on, I'll watch.

We're psyched - we love Jackass. It's exactly as you describe, they seem to genuinely enjoy this idiocy and it's just fun to watch.

I’m definitely in (I also find them hilarious), but seeing Johnny Knoxville with a full head of grey hair makes me feel really old.

I liked Jackass anytime bodily fluids weren't involved.

I will still giggle like an idiot whenever Party Boy lays down a boombox and then rips off the tear away pants. Tear away pants are on my bucket list.

Agreed. It's fun to watch because they're having so much fun. Also, I still find the same things funny that I found funny when I was in middle school so this is right up my alley.

In another timeline, I'd come over with a six pack and we'd watch them and laugh.

Never have never will. Thought it was too cringe and stupid. It is weird Johnny Knoxville is all grey. He is 2 years younger than me and I dont have any grey hair. We liked him in MiB 2 and Walking Tall.

I've always believed the world is split between those who laugh at the Three Stooges and those who don't.

We all laughed at the Stooges when we were 8-10. How many of us still do?

When I was a kid, I changed the channel when the Three Stooges came on.

If watching that dude get beaned in the head with a volleyball during the opening of the last trailer doesn't make you giggle, then I don't even know what to say. Coffee truck dispensing inflatable cylinder groin shots? Comedy gold.

If I felt that the pain they were causing was the sole reason for the comedy, I'd dislike it. But like the Three Stooges, there's an artistry to the shenanigans that some will see and others will deny exists. That's fine. To each their own. I'm not a huge fan, but I enjoy their stuff still.

Also, the ridiculous lengths they'll go to create these elaborate events for the sole purpose of a few minutes of laughter is another thing that makes me giggle. They remind me of Bugs Bunny creating an elaborate sequence of traps for Elmer J. Fudd.

Oh, and tearaway pants. Add tearaway pants to just about anything and it becomes 9 times better. I truly believe that if Dear Evan Hansen had included tearaway pants, it would've been a runaway hit at the box office.

You either think Hans Moleman is a comedic genius or you are dead inside. I don't see how I can justify my absolute love of Jackass or explain it to someone who doesn't care for it. I'm just glad my wife shares that love with me.

Bad Grandpa is available on Netflix. Sadly, I don't see that any of the Jackass movies are available on Netflix, HBOMax, Hulu, or Disney Plus. Netflix also has Bad Trip which I have on my list but haven't watched. Going to watch that soon.

They've all been moved to rental-only.

Yeah. I might have one on VHS or DVD. Just want to scratch that itch.

I've got your back dbt. I don't get it either and never saw the Stooges when I was young enough to be amused.

Same. The only good thing about the movie coming out is they finally stopped running the trailer before every movie I go to see.

Complete garbage.
