FYI: It says that Star Wars Squadrons has a limited supply of codes, so if you want it, I would claim it sooner rather than later.

yeah, this was one i was interested in. i liked the demo enough.

All three of the first ones listed are so far above the quality that Amazon Games has given away in the past year (ever?) that I thought I was misreading when I first saw these listed on a deals site.

Unbelievably solid games - especially compared to the absolute garbage that they have been trending toward (definitely a downward trajectory of game quality in the past 6 months or more).

Still, they have a loooong way to go if they are trying to compete with Epic in this regard (and not sure anyone can or wants to at this point).

Edit: Huh, I just looked up the Metacritic scores and they are all within 1 point of 80. Thought for sure they would have been rated much higher! It's not a bad score, of course, but just not as high as I would have thought.

I thought Amazon's selections have been good, even if it tends to be less AAA games (and tends to be somewhat older).

With regards to Alien Isolation, it has already been available free from Epic in the past (at least, that's the only way I can think of that it would already be in my account).

Some great games, although Dragon Age is on Origin, Tomb Raider is on Epic, and and Control is on GoG. So. Much. Hoop-jumping.

I mean if you already have the accounts linked like a good little gamer, there is not much in the way of hoops, except Origin which just gives you a key that you have to register yourself. I dutifully claimed them all and now I will dutifully ignore them.

Just going by the names Puzzle Agent 2 catches my attention, but I see it's TellTale so probably not what I am imagining/hoping.

I linked my various accounts years ago, and yet Amazon asks me to log in through account B, which requires authentication via phone or email (depending on the account.) Every. Single. Time. If Amazon would just remember that the accounts are linked it wouldn't be an issue, but they seem to forget 90% of the time.

Claim game provided by Amazon: Click claim.
Claim game through third party: Click claim. Opens page to confirm/log in/link accounts, depending on the service. Log in. Opens page for 2FA. Choose email. Open Gmail. Account is on other, linked Gmail account, so switch to that account rather than wait five minutes for the sync. Get the code. Go back to the page and enter it. Successfully logged in! Returning to Amazon... Click claim. Success!

Hoops.

it's a sorta point'n'click adventure with mini-game segments. i've only tried the first one, but it takes place in an imaginary town in Minnesota - having grown up there, i appreciated the attempt at the setting.

Humor is hit or miss but I thought the exploration gameplay was actually pretty fun.

Looks like Twitch is giving away Telltale's "Tales of Monkey Island" Chapters 1 through 5 and a few other titles as well as listing giveaways in other stores.

Surprisingly good showing from Amazon Games, who’ve been offering up almost shovelware for the past 12-15 months or more (especially compared to Epic).

When it's a service you would have regardless of the extras, considering the extras free is justifiable. Also cheap is relative. To me, Prime is cheap. To my mom, it's not something she could ever justify.
