Get a free upgrade to the Hitman 1 GOTY edition on Epic Game Store (valid for owners of the regular version on Epic)
The regular version was given away for free sometime last year on the Epic Game store. If you claimed a copy back then, you can get a free upgrade to the Game of The Year edition. Follow the steps below to get your copy.
1) You must first own Hitman 3 (full title, or the starter pack, which is currently free)
(There is no need to actually download it. Just add it to your shopping cart and check out.)
2) Go to the HITMAN 3 Access Pass: HITMAN 1 GOTY Edition page
3) You'll see the full price listed but if you click on BUY NOW and it will be 100% discounted. Checkout as usual.
Note you can also play Hitman 1 GOTY Edition within Hitman 3!
did you get this first?
Yeah I did, and the add-on still shows as $19.99 in the cart. Not that it's a big deal - it'd just be one more game in my library I'd probably never get around to playing.hitbyambulance wrote: ↑Wed Mar 31, 2021 2:47 pmdid you get this first?

and the actual add-on will only show as $0.00 when it's added to the cart
um.. are you selecting the Hitman 2 one by accident? that one is $19.99. the Hitman 1 one is $14.99.Defiant wrote: ↑Wed Mar 31, 2021 3:19 pmYeah I did, and the add-on still shows as $19.99 in the cart. I tried playing that 3 out of 10 game, for about 30-40 minutes. It's quite possible that my tastes have changed, but I could not get into this at all. Didn't even chuckle at any of the obviously funny (in theory) parts. And I am an EASY laugh!hitbyambulance wrote: ↑Thu Apr 08, 2021 2:57 pm [04/08 - 04/15]

I dunno about that. I managed to complete Hand of Fate 2, but I distinctly recall the mid- to late-game devolving into banal drudgery, overflowing with tedious repetition of the least enjoyable aspect of the game (i.e. real-time combat against increasing numbers of the same foes you've already fought and defeated countless times before). Which is a shame, because the adventure quests and "living board game" side of the game tend to be much more interesting and compelling than the tiresome combat you must slog through in order to complete them.stimpy wrote: ↑Thu Apr 15, 2021 2:58 pmAt least HoF2 is something to look forward to......hitbyambulance wrote: ↑Thu Apr 15, 2021 1:47 pm [04/15 - 04/22]

Both Alien:Isolation and Pillars of the Earth were highly rated.stimpy wrote:At least HoF2 is something to look forward to......hitbyambulance wrote: ↑Thu Apr 15, 2021 1:47 pm [04/15 - 04/22]

Definitely not. That said, it's worth at least trying with a price tag of free. But if you stick with it through to the mid- to late-game, I guarantee you'll reach a point where the necessary combat against the same tiresome varieties of foes becomes an exasperating trial of perseverance.stimpy wrote: ↑Thu Apr 15, 2021 8:28 pmI thought I read that was something they addressed from 1 to 2.Anonymous Bosch wrote: ↑Thu Apr 15, 2021 4:38 pmI dunno about that.
