GOG has released Icewind Dale plus its two expansions as a bundle for $9.99.

That's tremendous. And I don't want to alarm anyone, but the only major title left in the Hasbro library is one of the original Magic: The Gathering card games.
Maybe next year, maybe no go

Oddly enough I was already replaying Icewind Dale last week so I won't be grabbing this one. Hell somehow I have double the disks so I apparently bought it twice at some point. Now maybe I can actually finish the damn game!

Just purchased, downloaded and installed. Unfortunately, the graphics seem a bit wonky on a windows 7 64 bit system. I'm getting extreme tearing on every screen. :(

Heya

Have you installed the WideScreen Mod?

The same thing that works for Planescape: Torment also works on Icewind Dale...

Unless you have an nVidia card mayhaps...

Thanks, I'll give the nvidia fix a shot as I have a 470 and I'm assuming that's one of the issues.

Good lord, I now have a backlog of BG1, PST and IWD1...with all the expansions. Add in Arcanum and BG2 and IWD2 which I'm sure are just around the corner and I've got a lot of classic CRPG gaming in my future.

Funny enough I came across this old thread while looking for an Unreal one. This year marks 8 years since this went down. It was a scary thing at the time but looking back its just a blip on the gaming radar. I never stopped using GOG and cant imagine PC gaming without them today. Now they do have that stand alone program for buying and playing their games. I still buy from the website though. My game collection says I have 140 in it. Seems a lot. Time is flying past us. Think Ill go look up their infamous monk video :)

EDIT: Looking for that monk video I found this blurb....
We have a special treat waiting for everyone who wins a game of dice with the GOG Monk that can be found in Flotsam’s Tavern in Act 1 of The Witcher 2. Make sure to check the reward that he’s prepared for you. More details at GOG.com.
DOH! I dont recall meeting him!

Here is a look back video for GOG from 4 years ago.
