Windows Me absolutely hosed my system. I don't think I ever did get it successfully installed. That one hurt because it was the first time I had physically gone out and bought an OS.

Rayman: Origins currently free (again)

Me was basically 98. I never had a problem (with home. With Pro, it may have tried to play too many game with trying to integrate 2000/NT early in the convergence of the OS's. I wouldn't know. ). XP was better. noticeably better than 98. Vista OtOH was a PoS as was 8. 10, meh. It's a resource hog. It forces a lot of bloat and uses a lot of everything all the time. It lies to you about what it's doing. Other than that, it's fine, as you get used to change for change sake. MS for the home user tend to be an every other OS update. 3.1, OSR2(aka 95 2nd edition), 98SE, 7, 10, ?
