How else do you interpret that? I'd say it is open for interpretation as to how serious he was being but not what he was saying.
i think youre adding in more than what is there...he could very well be drily saying "yeah right". At least thats how i read it.

Newcastle, your arguments are thin against Remus West. In fact, you're tearing others down on a day one vote.

I like this vote:

You are wrong. I am not adding more. I am interpreting the tone differently than you claim to be doing. Thats fine though. If you think I'm being "evil Remus" by intentionally drawing attention to myself with my first post and repeatedly focusing on other's reactions to it then by all means, vote for me. I'll think you crazy for it but hey, do what you need to do.

ok i get that...the interpretation thing...but the thing is for me...is that it's thin, really, really thin. By openly doubting your seer claim? how does that make one evil or good? its more like..."uhm yeah seer coming out on day 1, not gonna happen"...that's how i read it...regardless if the seer role is in it or not.

I know you were joking due to your history w/ CR...maybe Moliere didn't. maybe moliere can come in and give further insights...but i find remus reasoning against him to be...thin.

Ah...there's purge...thanks for the vote...vote early and vote often!

Correct. My post was meant as a joke response to what I took as a joke from Remus West.

For what it's worth the phrasing in Moliere's alleged joke ("I'm not convinced - [vote]") parallels the phrasing from my joke two posts earlier ("I'm convinced - [vote]"). Which suggests joke to me.

A lot of unsubstantial posts since we last met, sprinkled around the main event of the Moliere joke/slip/train.

What might be most interesting about the Moliere vote is that it ran to 5 and stalled. Unfortunately, the permutations can't be accurately interpreted until we have more lynch and night data to cross reference, but it's worth pondering.

The post that has struck me so far as being most off-kilter is this:
RMC wrote:I could switch to anyone really. Not really sure about Moliere, I don't see the 'slip-up' as anything other than a normal response. But I miss these things all the time.

And I can't see the bad guys pushing for someone on day one with flimsy evidence. So most likely not that crew either.

(Remus also commented on this particular post, but for different reasons).

Why wouldn't the bad guys push for someone on day one with flimsy evidence? That's all the evidence there is in this game so far. The wolves might very well push for someone with flimsy evidence. It seems like he's trying to paint 5 players as innocent for a very unlikely reason.
