Posts vs. Joined Date

Histogram of post counts of top 417 users (total posts >= 100) differentiated into two buckets of joined dates:

No surprise -- the later you joined the forum, the liklier you are to have fewer total posts.

If we have over 2000 posts, do we get a free doughnut and coffee courtesy of the OO Admins and Mods?

I like Krispy Kreme and Starbucks. :)

Hey, I see my dot! I'm that ~3k that wasn't a first week signup. I'm special that way.

And only that way. :(

Clearly the peak oil moment was reached sometime between 09/04-11/04, and it's almost exactly the curve Hubert predicted (well cept' in reverse, heh)! Are you going to publish? :?:

Can you correlate the joined date to global pirate activity?

That might be a good one to have handy for potential site investors.

Can you get me more recent data?

I know there were some attacks near Singapore last February when I was there.

Damn you're fast. All I found was this map for 2004 and this 2004 annual summary of Piracy.

I'm beginning to think my pirate resignation letter could have been argued as legit.

Good stuff, Smoove. I'll hold off until I can perform a correlation of a full year's worth of data.

Stay on the line...

If you take The Meal out of the correlation, the histogram would explode.

Nice work once again. Do you happen to get a correlation value? Looks at least like a .8 to me. If Daehawk had joined OO earlier, it would be even stronger. :)
