Yeah PD I read the whole thing at once and edited my post. My mistake if I was wrong the first time, sorry Kael. I think that is why the rollyeyes is required for dumbshits like me who don't read everything front to back.

Two good (even funny) columns from Bill Simmons about it. If you know how big an NBA fan he is (he even has season tickets to the Clippers), you can just picture him sitting on couch with Tivo advancing frame by frame through the entire thing.

I was attempting to lay the sarcasm on thick. I should have included a rolleyes. For furture reference nothing I say is meant to be taken seriously. :-)

I thought you did a good job with the sarcasm myself, but I'd argue I have a better-than-average nose for such things. Too often a rolley eyes just cheapens the moment IMO, but as we have seen artistic integrity is not without cost.

The Simmons columns are very good, fwiw.

You guys are right about the attacking the innocent. I meant he was right to go after the guy who did it. As for comparing this to what happened in Western Wisconsin, recently, I didn't advocate killing someone. Being asked to leave your deer stand doesn't quite compare to having shit thrown at you and neither does shooting and killing 6 people compare to punching someone.

Well now we can start seeing that the lack of any real punishment to fans after this fiasco, means we will be seeing more of this kind of crap. People trying to become millionaires by being assanine poor losers.

At least it was refreshing to see the arbitrator may be able to lighten the punishments. Of course the NBA is going to throw some money at battling them. Should make the next strike real interesting.

More and more it's FANtastic!
