I went looking for naked pictures of girls with tattoos...

Post by Mr. Sparkle »

And then I find out it's like a "community" or some shit!

I posted a picture of myself (same one I posted here actually) out of whimsy, make a comment in my "journal" identifying which of the two gentlemen pictured I am, and all of a sudden I have a comment and a "request for friendship" from some girl.

The internet frightens me.

I was intriuged by the idea of being able to post thoughts to a journal, given that there was an extremely low probability that anyone else looking for naked pictures of girls with tattoos would ever read it... I was kind of happy to piss my thoughts into the internet ether... however, it appears that there are also hetero girls who like naked girls with tattoos. I can't blame them, of course, but this means that I sorta have to be, like, "deep" and shit now doesn't it?

How do you bloggers handle this stuff?

I don't want to be witty, I just want to be drunk.

As it has been proven several times, me surfing the internet while drunk can only be a bad thing. Just drink lots of alcohol, surf the web, and let the rest solve itself. Nice and easy, even you could have figured that one out. ;)

Edit - In case you haven't seen it.... Suicide Girls meet OO.

Second Edit - Apparently, since you're the third poster in that thread, you have seen it.... :)

Get her drunk and...

Is this livejournal or something similar? I haven't used any online journals but from what I gather from lurking on pages from the various lj image pages, being "friends" only means that they will get any post you make along with any other of their other "friends" on their Friends Page - kind of like a Favorites, or Bookmark page that updates automatically. It's not like she'll start stalking you or come over to your house and blow you tomorrow. ;)

That is actually the thread that led me to this. I think you'll notice that I had more than a passing interest in that topic. ;)

It is in fact from paying the fee to join SuicideGirls... though I think you hit the nail on the head there, regardless.

The wierd thing to me, is that it's got "dating" features... granted, I am without a SigOther, so this isn't really a bad thing... it's just wierd, since I wasn't expecting it to be anything other than... well... a place to see naked pictures of girls with tats.

I've never done a blog/journal thing... that concept by itself is a bit overwhelming... combine it with flirting? Fuck.

Hmmm... but are they "friends" or friends? See, now I have a "friend", and I don't really know what that means.

I have a good friend that I sent the Suicide Girls link to. He hasn't stopped thanking me.

He's like you though - he's a bit nervous about the whole "meeting people" thing.

But what are your other options? Bars? Bowling alleys? Screw it.

Reminds me of that commercial with two teenage girls and one gushing over her online boyfriend who is so cool and understands her completely. The scene cuts to a person typing the messages to her and pans back to show it is an eighty year old man. Great stuff.

Actually, I have a friend at work who visits all these sites and gets a ton of trim. Last week he was on Hot or Not, picked this local Goth chick and that night she was at his place doing the nasty with her big boots on. I can't believe i got married before this whole internet sex thing started

That is basically true... I haven't had many decent prospects since my GF and I broke up in the Spring... and was starting to consider doing the internet dating thing since the wounds have (mostly) healed from that fiasco.

The only people I've met through SG have been women, including one who's a good friend now. We joke that the only reason we met was because we both like pr0n, but I usually forget that she's my "SG friend".
I joined SG because a diaryland pal became an SG and I... wanted to support her!

I have a buddy who is a big fan of the SG's. He confessed to me that while recently perusing some of the photo sets, he came across one girl that looked oddly familiar. After a bit of studying, he came to realize it was his niece!!! I asked him what he did, and he said he looked at that entire set, like a proud uncle should!

How can this thread still be appropriate for dialup users. :(

Who on earth still uses dialup in this day and age? I get bummed out when I have to use DSL in the hotel instead of the 10 MB fiber internet at home...

My wife told me that I wasn't allowed to purchase anything for myself until after Christmas. That's the _only_ reason I'm seeing a "JOIN NOW" photo in the post above this one. :(

Oh, so that's how it works.

Don't worry Meal, I'm guessing that joining SG would be a mutual present.

You mean normal people actually meet up through that? I took one look and assumed it was just another way to get guys to pay money to look at nekkid chicks.
