Well, due to the introduction of a new color scheme, my old gray/gray avatar is obsolete to about half the posters here so I'm trying out a new one as well.

I like the theme thing I have going right now. I think I may keep this up. It's kind of fun.

I don't get why everyone's so down on his avatar. I think it's kind of cute. (some of the other images he's been posting in threads, however, are another story  )

It's the original "Exidor" (I didn't learn the correct spelling until years after I adopted my nick).

Exidor was an occasional character on "Mork & Mindy" - when I needed a name for my D&D character in the early 80's, it seemed appropritately "D&D"-ey. It's been my online alter-ego for years now.

Had one of my coworkers from our Aberdeen office bring me some of this on his trip over last week:

It would've been a year next week since I had some good local like that.

Edit 1. Crap....I'm friggin' clueless when it comes to posting images.

Edit 2. Well then, since I've had my lesson, let's try this again, shall we?

It's been 509 days since I had a good local scotch.

Is it wrong that I count the days? Also, on the image posting, sometimes it helps to right-click the image, and select properties. the box that pops up gives you the correct URL for the image... which in this case would be:

http://www.whyteandmackay.co.uk/dev/new ... ia_261.jpg

Edit: Big image removed by request.

Great, thanks for the tip, now that I've found a wee bit smaller pic, you can take yours down Gargoyle, so we don't have to throw a 56k tag on this thread! :)

I like my avatar. It's even better because it hasn't been photoshopped.
