Domain Name Vote Thread
Time to pick a domain name. Since we're too lazy to settle on one ourselves, and we thought you guys might enjoy it, you're going to pick one for us.
Seriously, we figured this would be a good decision to turn over to the community. You've now seen some of the things we want to do with the site (hopefully, we'll actually do some of them). These forums, and more importantly the people who are frequenting them, are an integral part of those plans. Who better to make the final domain name choice?
So, please take the time to read the rules below, and step up to the voting booth at your leisure.
The Vote Discussion Thread is where you can discuss the vote as it progresses. Likewise, you may encourage, criticize, or otherwise analyze votes at your leisure in that thread. You do not have to vote of course, but if you don't you waive your right to complain about the domain name ( ).
The Rules:
1) This thread is for votes only.
2) One vote only. Please do not vote multiple times. Violators will be prosecuted.
3)You may change your vote at any time until the voting is closed. Just edit your post to do so. Do not post a second time. Voting closes Monday at 9pm EST.
4) 5 posts to vote. Please don't go spamming the forums to get to 5 posts, but the voting will be open until monday evening, so no rush.
How to Vote:
4) List the domain you are chosing in your post and nothing else. Do not throw commentary into your post. Do not post in this thread to discuss someone else's vote. To not post something random in this thread to be cute. Please just vote here. The Vote Discussion Thread is for all that other stuff.
5) No write in votes. there were some very good suggestions in the URL discussions thread, but we want to go with one of these two, ultimately.
Voting will close on: Monday, 9pm EST
In the unlikely event of a tie, staff will sacrifice a hecatome to the Oracle at Delphi and seek the answer there. In reality, we'll just decide the winner ourselves.
