None of the above. I was backing out of what amounted to a silly argument (Smeagol wasn't exactly a decent person to begin with, unlike Elrond) in order to start a different silly argument.

The main thing I saw is that it takes all the "manual" out of it, and reduces maintenance and cleaning. The latter because the needle is under the record. The former because it auto identifies track separators, and you can use buttons to skip directly to specific tracks. No more trying to drop a needle on the right spot.

I drive through a couple every time I go anywhere. We have them all around us the only reason we aren't one is that we're just to the side of the main highway, so traffic passing through doesn't go through town, and falls under the jurisdiction of the state police anyway.

I will note that their primary targets aren't speeders, they're out-of-state plates.

Turns out you can get the same effect by putting it up on your monitor and then getting some distance between you and the image. Just step away about 8 feet and you'll see it almost immediately.

I don't think the eyes work with that though... Although she points out that John Wick always has way more straight and greasy looking long hair than that image.

In any case, that's amazing. I'm fascinated with what may be the AI (I assume) method for creating it.

Actual answer (possibly): Browsers don't always like Imgur's photo-in-an-embedded-box thing, as it's loading code from a third party, and many security features interfere with that. Linking via the 'share links' button is more reliable.

I had to lean back to see it. I wasn't 8' away but about 3'. Now I can see it up close and make out the hidden image. For a while I thought the people saying they saw it were just going along with a joke.

That was actually meant as a joke, juxtaposition of multiple times I haven't seen John Wick.
