I really enjoyed all the Spellforce III games and expansions, most of which were standalones. Fun, janky RPG/RTS hyrbid. Really good looking too. Fallen God recently came out and I just finished it.

I never could get into 3, although I enjoyed 1 & 2. The big difference is that with 3 they removed the third person option. It's what made Spellforce so unique and fun, with you running around commanding your armies. With 3 it was like playing Baldur's Gate with troops. While it may be (and from what I've heard, is) a good game, it's a completely different experience from what made it special. I always really enjoyed 1st/3rd person RTS games (ala Sacrifice and Battlezone.)
