Looks cool but I am having problems with the small size in the video. Planets that small could not maintain an atmosphere......

I hate to break the news to you but . . . it's a game.

Yea, I know....but those things are tiny. You'd need to factor in the curvature of the planet for building dining room tables.

There wouldn't be any golf because no one could see the flag. It would be over the horizon....

Looks pretty cool. Shame that I've been so burned out on early access games that I don't have any interest in getting into the game now, but I've signed up for the newsletter and we'll see what happens.

I may be off base in saying this, but how is this not just a rehash of the space portion of Spore? It even looks almost identical.

But like JZ, I have been burned by too many early access and Kickstarter titles being abandoned, so I will wait and see.

The $30 intro level is "Spore" even...

It looks like the planetary scale of Spore, but instead of spending 45 minutes evolving from tribal to space-faring, you focus the entire game on that sequence. That was never the best part of the game to me, but a part that needed to be tolerated to get from A to C.

This looks like everything that particular phase could have been if it wasn't just about rushing into space. Now I need a game that gives me a lot of the single-celled game play.

Yeah, I loved Spore's single cell part, and enjoyed the animal part, but disliked the civilization building. It did feel like a rush to Space, which was a fairly entertaining part of the game. If this actually makes it to be released, and it focuses more than Spore, then it could be good. But I am not laying money down on KS titles like I used to (unless I am sure of the company).

Oh wow, I had that off my radar for so long.

It's at the back of a long and slow-moving line though right now.

I bought this game back in 2018, and haven't played since then.

I skimmed the video to get a feel for the game. I decided it wasn't for me.

I just got drawn in to looking at this game. Since you and I share similar gaming tastes, what was your main takeaway why this isn't for you?

It just seemed slow and fiddly. The god aspect with all the powers just didn't click with me either.

That seems commiserate with some of the negative reviews. If you think that, then I'm (not) sold.
