Ah the old gold days of PC. Here are two articles from yesteryear on PCs.
First a PC buying guide from 1995. It lists the specs and parts of a pc and what to look for. Fun read.

Second is a PDF of BYTE magazine from May 1993. The best article to me is the one all about the new Pentiums. Full color too.
