Gonna be in the 20s again at night and my blanket died. I just opened it and put it on here not a month ago and the controller overheated and melted sorta. The buttons are not soft to push but hard as rocks and I cant use it. My sister got this for me over a year ago at Amazon for Xmas so dont think I have any recourse in replacement. Ill check the paperwork in the box. Fuck. Not one thing its another.

If you get a chance, you might want to look into the heated mattress pads. We used one for years. I don't think that they need to get as hot, generally. So you may have less issues like that. With a good comforter/blanket, I think they do a better job of keeping things warm.

Though... we need a new one. Some of the elements went. I think currently there are only 1-2 still working. And they are on her side of the bed.

This winter has been so brutal. It's not so much the snow, which I can deal with, but it's the near constant -25C and high windchill and wind from the arctic.

Last 3 days its been colder in the house than outside. Takes a week or two for the house to warm up once the weather changes outside. I get cold inside. I mean hands and feet numb inside and it will be sunny and warm outside and 55.

Looks liek a huge wall of ice sweeping across the country. Some places will see 2" or more. Only takes 1/2" to down power lines and trees.

Its hot as heck here today. Im sweating like mad and got a fan on me. Its only mid 60s but the humidity is oppressive. It stormed all night and is going to rain all week.

69 degrees here, going down to 20 overnight, with a snowstorm on the way for Friday. It will probably be more of a slopstorm for us.

It's been in the 80s here in Central Florida. It's supposed to stay in the 80s through the weekend and then we have a cold spell, highs going down in the 70s, brrr!

We hit a high of 68 at my eastern CT home today. It has dropped to 42 already this evening, and temps are taking a nosedive to low 20s overnight as we prepare for a snowstorm tomorrow evening. By late Friday, we're expected to have 6-10 inches of snow on the ground. Crazy weather this year

60's here, supposed to be low 30's by morning and temps mostly in the 30's and 40's for the next 2 weeks. Had a friend and his kids over...kids went bike riding, I grilled burgers, he's passed out on the couch now (this is why I don't typically like inviting him but usually it's worse because it irritates my wife when he does does this).

Sat & Sun are going to be a big change. From 70 to 29 in 1 night then 35 for a high then 20 then up to 54. I dont like this roller coaster.

March is usually one of the driest months of the year for us, practically no rain at all, yet it has been warm, windy and for the past two days we've been getting afternoon thundershowers like it's the middle of summer. That's expected to last for the next three days then we get a surprisingly late cold front, two days of blustery weather and then back to unseasonable rain each day. Weird.

You haven't been cold until you've been to Muskegon MI. The wind off Lake MI never lets up and winter hangs on full-strength through March, at least. Last week was a bad time for my coat's zipper to give up the ghost.

I went to the luge track there about a dozen years ago. By our last run it was almost white-out conditions (and temps well south of zero). We had originally thought to do some other winter-sportsy type things, like maybe skiing and shooting at things (which appears to be popular in Norway), but we didn't have guns and it really was getting miserable out. Driving down the east coast of Lake Michigan was pretty excruciating, about 20 mph, trying to keep in sight of the tail lights of the car in front. It took something like 6 hours to get home.

Two consecutive days of 70's here...got the bike out for the first and second time this year. Discovered my ass needs much hardening.

Tomorrow? Rain (99% chance) and 45. My daughter doesn't have school tomorrow, my son does. Sucks to be him, because I'm not planning on leaving the house since my daughter doesn't need a ride to school.

The wind is here. It was a nice breeze this morning. But now its like 30mph. its 82 degrees and a severe storm will be here around 10pm. Our area is supposed to see 45mph+ wind with 60mph+ gusts. Im expecting more. But just west a few counties that are higher up may see 100mph gusts with high straight line winds. Wouldn't wanna be there.
