I've watched the first 2 episodes of season 2 and I'm still loving it. It's just so bizarrely funny to me.

Chuck Norris vs. Communism

A documentary showing how the VCR helped inspire the revolution in Romania. It's also a good reminder for those of us that grew up in a free country how fortunate we are to watch even bad movies.

Just watched it last week. I was surprised at how good it was.

More WHAS
Netflix is going ahead with a new series installment of Wet Hot American Summer, greenlighting Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later with an eight-episode order for a 2017 premiere.

Wain and Michael Showalter, who wrote the movie and the limited series, are back as writers of Ten Years Later, with Wain again directing. There is no casting information yet on the new Wet Hot American Summer installment but, like First Day Of Camp, which reassembled virtually the entire original cast ... reprising their roles, the new installment will likely feature a slew of original cast members.

I'm currently enjoying the hell out of Occupied, which is an absolutely superb Norwegian political thriller. IMDB describes it as follows:
IMDB wrote:In the near future, Norway is occupied by Russia on behalf of the European Union, due to the fact that the newly elected environmental friendly Norwegian government has stopped the all important oil- and gas-production in the North Sea.
For anyone that enjoys shows like 24 or Homeland, and The Man in the High Castle, this is essential viewing.

Is there an Amazon Instant Video thread? Because they have some amazing shows free to Prime members right now. Lots of the HBO back catalogue, The Wire, and some nice originals. I've been watching The Americans, and it's been great, halfway through the first season.

It's been 8 minutes and Isg hasn't helped so I will step in and say yes there is a thread for that topic.

Sounds like he should start a YouTube channel where he reacts to movie and game trailers.

At least he doesn't create threads about media properties with 'trailer' in the titles, that stay that way through their late night basic cable syndication.

I don't recall doing this so I will assume it's directed at someone else.

Yesterday, my Dad and I watched The Last Man on the Moon. It's a beautiful and poignant documentary about the Apollo Space program seen through the eyes of Gene Cernan who was one of the astronauts on the last Apollo mission. We've seen a lot of space documentaries and we both agreed that this was among the best.

I recently watched all of the Inbetweeners as well. Completely sophomoric toilet humor... which is perfect for me. The movie is also on Netflix; it's more or less an extended episode, but worth watching.

There's actually two movies.

edit: just checked. netflix has both of the movies.

And yeah, the series relies entirely on potty humor and sex jokes. But damn if it doesn't work. There's a scene in the second movie involving an upset stomach and a water slide that had me both groaning in disgust and laughing hysterically at the same time.
