on march 24th, they'll be opening up a big chunk of the Factions expansion content for a massive public weekend. old and new players alike get to try out the two new classes on the continent of Cantha...and start in the middle of the new campaign, automatically at high-level, to get the full experience of four all-new missions.
After looking at the details, I see that this is only a 'semi-open' beta day, in that you either need to pre-order or have a friend with a GW account invite you. If anyone is interested in checking this out on 3/24 but doesn't have GW and won't be pre-ordering Factions in time, let us know; I'm certain we can find enough invites among the guild players.
Just make sure to make it--we only get 3 invites per account, so don't waste them!
