I vote curly - there are so many women with straight hair, but very few with the curls.

Besides, i've got a thing for curly hair...

...how long did it take to get straightened? Do you want to go through that every time?
BD

I *heart* you.

Though, the straight is good for an occasional change/shake up.

Hmm...the straight hair makes you look sophisticated while with the curly hair you look naughty...what a choice to have to make. Image

The vote is currently 50/50, MHS isn't getting any help at all. We obviously need more pictures.

Straight. Curly is so early 80's.

Edit: Which I just realized was 20 years ago. I'm getting old.

Straight for formal dining, symphonies, etc. Curly for the party and doing that come hither thing for Neal. I vote curly overall if that is your hair's natural thing to do.

Curly looks better sometimes,
but I vote for straight.

Straight is just more 'practical' for doing things like running fingers through.....yeah, that's it

I think straight is generally more attractive...it's easier to run fingers through. It bounces and sways in ways that curly just can't match.

I think curly has some advantages in certain situations, and looks good on ya.

Straight would work, but I don't think that style in the picture is right for your head/face. The curly style frames your face a lot better.

I think straight hair is very becoming on a woman.

Now if you could also dye it dark brown and cut it short...

Straight. The reasoning is simple. Straightened curly hair will always be longer than curly hair (in perceived length). Longer hair is ALWAYS better than not as long hair. ALWAYS.

And so, despite the straight hair picture not showing the actual color of your hair, that is obviously the better choice. Obviously.

Bahktosh and Zekester make very salient points about straight hair and my ability to run my fingers through it without maiming my wife's scalp (she's not a big fan of me yanking out gobs of her hair). But Bad Demo and LordMortis make good points about the amount of effort straight hair would require on a semi-regular basis.

Like the rest of you, I want more data points before I decide.

Too funny about the poll numbers running 50-50. That totally echos my own feelings.

Snopes has an article up about how, if it's curly, Bush will win. If it's straight, Kerry is the man. As expected, a statistical dead heat.

There's an ionized treatment for curly hair. It takes about 3 to 6 hours, but you would only have to get it done twice a year.

Damn, that has got to be the worst webcam/office on the planet. That's not washed-out red in that picture, that's dirty blond. Does that camera even realize that red exists?

That said, and after also mentioning that in keeping with the theme of this board more pictures are always beneficial, my tentative vote goes for curly. It's the non-hypocritical vote (since my hair is cut deliberately for nothing but ease of maintenance), has the better picture, and still has the comfortingly familiar hot-as-hell look about it. ;)

From a womans point of view, my hair is red also, curly, but I like to straighten it once in awhile. I say go with both. It usually just depends on how much time I want to give myself for fooling around with the hair. I'm more the wash & go type, but for special occasions, or sometimes just to give myself a different look, I'll straighten, but it's a pain in the rear.

I actually voted for straight because I think it looks better. I just don't think the opportunity cost is worth choosing form over function in this case.

Edit

Semi-regular basis.   Oh, you keed! Stop it, you're killing me. Two questions: You have more than one bathroom? You (and she and Kayla) don't care about punctuality?

Why thank you. :)

And thanks for all the input, everyone. Even if it is still split and really no help at all. :P

I think I'll probably end up wearing it curly sometimes and straight sometimes and wavy other times. Nothing says "female" quite like indecision, right?

Dang. I voted "straight" because I thought you were asking how I like my french fries. Then the pix finished loading. I like your hair better curly.

Don't tell my wife, but that was a subtle jab at the frequency in which she showers. :P

And yes, with our new move, we're officially in the land of 2 1/2 baths for the three of us! With adolescence nigh, we figured it'd be a good thing for us to not be waiting for each other in our one-bathroom home (the place we just moved out of).

That depends. I all you want to do is say female than I suppose indecision is OK. If you want scream it, then I'd have to go with either moodyness or liking di....never mind, forget I ever post this.
