My work with the wOOki has made me wish for a "diff" button for posts here. People who don't annotate their edits are the devil.

[edit] - Testing a theory.

[edit] - Theory proven horribly wrong.

I never noticed the "add sig" checkbox. http://bitemeSo I learned something new but I'm still confused with the edit thing.

And you can quote that, Meal.

That's kind of odd. There may have been some stuff that got a little broken with the last update. I'm not going to get bent out of shape over it yet, but if you see it again, let me know.

Gedd, if you will look outside your window you will see people with pitchforks and steak knives. I cannot guarentee your safety.

I find it silly and useless 99% of the time when people write why they edited their posts.

I agree, I rarely do it unless it is more than spell checking or adding an additional comment.

Ironically, I strive to do it even with the most minor of edits, just so folks aren't curious as to whether I've changed the content of my post. Were I not so firmly in the cross-hairs of various posters on the forum, I wouldn't bother. But so many times *perception* of impropriety seems to be more important than the actual course of events, so I try to stay in the habit.

Were I but a common poster on the site, I probably wouldn't bother (or at least I wouldn't be so anal about it). Of course, it doesn't hurt anything, so I don't hold anything against those who do.

Nostalgic? I mean, that's what Gonegold used to do back in the beginning, IIRC.
