I never noticed the "add sig" checkbox. http://bitemeSo I learned something new but I'm still confused with the edit thing.

Gedd, if you will look outside your window you will see people with pitchforks and steak knives. I cannot guarentee your safety.Gedd wrote:That's kind of odd. There may have been some stuff that got a little broken with the last update. I'm not going to get bent out of shape over it yet, but if you see it again, let me know.

Ironically, I strive to do it even with the most minor of edits, just so folks aren't curious as to whether I've changed the content of my post. Were I not so firmly in the cross-hairs of various posters on the forum, I wouldn't bother. But so many times *perception* of impropriety seems to be more important than the actual course of events, so I try to stay in the habit.Rip wrote:I agree, I rarely do it unless it is more than spell checking or adding an additional comment.Suitably Ironic Moniker wrote:I find it silly and useless 99% of the time when people write why they edited their posts.Fretmute wrote:People who don't annotate their edits are the devil.
Were I but a common poster on the site, I probably wouldn't bother (or at least I wouldn't be so anal about it). Of course, it doesn't hurt anything, so I don't hold anything against those who do.
